Before departure

What are you not allowed to carry with you?

It is strictly forbidden to transport dangerous goods, explosive and flammable materials, liquids in general, pets weighing more than 10 kg

What is the passenger required to check before traveling?

He must check the date of travel, the time, the departure and arrival stops.

You must arrive at the departure point at least 10 minutes before the scheduled time.

During the trip

What should the passenger do during the trip?

Remain seated when the bus is in motion.

Do not smoke (including electronic cigarettes).

Do not drink alcoholic beverages.

Comply with the stopover time (which does not exceed 15′)

Upon request of the on-board staff, show an identity document in the presence of tickets with a discount by age group.

Can minors be transported?

It is possible to transport minors between the ages of 14 and 18 subject to parental authorization. You can copy and print the form here.

The infant must travel seated on the bus seat in a car seat with the seat belt fastened to the bus seat; the infant car seat must belong to the parent/companion.

Is it possible to buy tickets on board the bus?

Ordinarily, the passenger is required to purchase the ticket before boarding the bus. Exceptionally, it is possible to issue previously booked travel documents on board at no extra charge. (This supplement is not due on international lines)

Tickets and purchases

Is it possible to suspend a travel document?

It is possible to suspend a ticket by contacting MarinoBus customer service (by calling +39 0803112335 or by sending an email to info@marinobus.it).
This service is free if communicated 18 hours before the scheduled departure, there is a supplement of €5.00 (to be paid on board) if the communication is made after 6pm and up to the time of departure.
A suspended ticket can be revalidated on the same route within 12 months from the original date, by contacting MarinoBus customer service.

Is it possible to change the travel date?

It is possible to change the date or time of the trip (anticipate or postpone it) always on the same route.

This service is free if communicated 18 hours before the scheduled departure, there is a supplement of € .5.00 (to be paid on board) if the communication is made after 6pm and up to the time of departure.

Is it possible to obtain a refund for the travel ticket?

It is possible to request a refund within 48 hours of the scheduled departure time provided that, within this deadline, an email is sent to Refunds@marinobus.it or a fax to +39 080 3104553 of Refund Communication. The form can be downloaded from the Customer Area.

Subsequently, in any case within 10 days of the communication, the written refund request sent by registered letter to Soc. Marino S.P. 41 KM. 1,500 70022 Altamura. The formal request form can be downloaded and printed from the Customer Area.

The reimbursement value corresponds to the ticket, reduced by 30%.

How much luggage can be carried?

Each passenger has the right to bring on board with him/her for free:

  • 1 hand luggage (max size 40x30x15 cm)
  • 2 pieces of luggage to be checked in the hold with a maximum overall size of 140 cm (length + depth + width) and a weight of 12 kg.

Is it possible to transport animals?

The passenger can carry only one pet weighing no more than 10 kg provided that it is placed in the carrier whose dimensions cannot exceed 30+30+40.

  • The pet carrier must be placed on the floor next to the seat booked by the passenger.
  • The cost for the transportation of animals is equal to the discounted rate of 40% (children 0/11 years) unless otherwise specified in the peak season when fee discounts cannot be provided. Passengers carrying an animal have the right to occupy two seats for themselves. For more details consult the Travel Conditions.
